This word means brave woman in Sudan. In this piece I used acrylic paint on canvas paper.

I drew this African lady and we agroup of four put our designs and style on it. Using ink colours and then embroidery on top with some beads.
4. "Housh"
It is typical in Sudanese houses. Women used to wake up early and prepare tea for their whole family.
5. "South"
Inspired from South Sudan with added small details.
6. "Bakhour”
Bakhour is like essence, using coal to burn it and bring a unique smell. The essence is usually handmade by Sudanese women. Before her wedding every woman is supposed to have her own Bakhour. I used acrylic paint on canvas.
7. Bent Al Nile
It's blue for Sudan and Nile River. Acrylic paint on canvas with a small details using pens marker. Some Arabic words feature women in Suadn. Brave, Kandaka, Mother and strong independent.
