As a child I was interested in music and painting. I studied at music conservatory in Iran and graduated as a violinist. After that I began playing violin in the orchestra. Before I came to Bristol I lived in Nottingham and I’m a member of Nottingham Symphony Orchestra.
My interest in drawing has been constant, throughout my time studying and performing music. I have painted many tableaux. The ‘Belonging’ Exhibition is the fifth public art exhibition in Bristol which I have participated in.
About the project:
1. Old man with his paint brushes as a painter.
2. Health is our Belonging. So, I imagine a couple. That they drop their Covid face masks on the floor and kiss each other.
3. I made some portraits.
4. One kind of Belonging for people is the mobile phone.
5. One of my kinds of Belonging is to play the violin. I have drawn someone playing violin.
